On the back of the much publicised improvement in the UK economy generally enquiry levels in respect of this 8 acre serviced site, which has planning for B1, B2, B8 and D2 uses have dramatically improved since the autumn of 2013.
As a result a sale of a 1.5 acre site is now in the hands of solicitors and proposals for Design and Build facilities have, in the last month, been submitted to two further organisations looking to create new facilities.
The sole agents, Wadham & Isherwood (Farnham), are particularly encouraged by this increase in enquiry levels which they believe is as a direct result of the total lack of similar land available in the surrounding area with planning consent for business expansion. As a result the agents expect that further sales will be agreed during the course of 2014.
If, as predicted, this land is taken up then Wadham & Isherwood are concerned that there is virtually no other additional land allocated for business expansion within any of the neighbouring Local Authority areas and there is currently no new development in the pipeline. The result is a pent up demand for purpose built new facilities.
