Re-Format Architects, who are currently based in Alton will be relocating to new offices in Petersfield later this year, following the refurbishment of Buckmore Barns.
Re-Format are a multi-disciplined practice specialising in high quality architecture, graphic design and construction consultancy services. Their reputation is underpinned by framework commissions, with at least 20 public sector clients including Local Authorities, County Councils and Housing Associations.
The move to Petersfield was prompted by the needs of not only an expanding practice but also the advantages of Petersfield as a location, particularly being adjacent to the A3 and having a mainline rail service to Waterloo.
Re-Format acquired Buckmore Barns, which comprised a series of Grade II Listed redundant and dilapidated barns dating back to the late 18th Century, in 2011. Having obtained a subsequent planning permission to convert the barns to offices, now underway is a comprehensive development programme, which on completion will provide an exceptional and attractive office environment with on site parking. Whilst the total office space will amount to approximately 4,500 sq.ft., a ground floor self-contained wing of 1,700 sq.ft. will be surplus to requirements and is being marketed by agents Wadham & Isherwood.
