Unit 4.8 was let to Deepwater who will move into a 6,700 sq ft business unit and make it the home of their UK operation. Unit 4.7, a similar sized units, on the smart new business park has been let to Jauch Quartz, a specialist in quartz, oscillators and battery technology, with bases in the USA and France as well as the UK.
Geoff Camm, Deepwater General Manager, said:
“It’s a super location at Frimley4 Business, and the very high spec of the buildings impressed me. The good road links to the M3, M25 and Heathrow Airport were crucial to us, and I’ll be proud to host our senior colleagues from Texas here when they visit. Most of all, the major attraction is the 50/50 split of the building between office and warehouse. Currently, the Deepwater UK operations are on two separate sites miles apart, so we don’t feel unified. My staff and I are looking forward to the fantastic new facilities and a spacious working environment.”
Nicholas Ribton, Jauch Quartz UK MD said:
“Having had a main sales office and a remote warehouse for years, the idea of ‘putting everything under one roof’ fits in perfectly with our continued growth plans for the future.
This will certainly also be a positive move for the employees and I’m sure the café and gym will be frequented by various staff. I’m also looking forward to inviting customers, suppliers and of course the Director of our HQ in Germany to the new building.”
