Located next to the A319 between Chobham and Ottershaw in Surrey, only 2 miles north of Woking, Fairoaks has great transport links being only circa 10 minutes drive from the M25 and 15 minutes from the M3.

Fairoaks first opened as a private airstrip in 1931, but became RAF Fairoaks during World War II being used as a training airfield with De Havilland Tiger Moths being flown as chosen training aircraft.. Over 6,000 pilots were trained at the airfield over this period with the Tiger Moths ultimately replaced by De Havilland Canada Chipmunks in 1951. The post war flying school was disbanded on 31 July 1953.
