Acting for long standing clients, Heath Bros of Farnham, Wadham & Isherwood have recently negotiated the sale of the freehold interest in the above former petrol station which currently trades as a car sales forecourt with adjoining MOT and servicing bay. Heath Bros Limited an old established business based on Farnham have, through Wadham & Isherwood, Farnham, over the years disposed of a number of freehold former motor sites including the Frensham garage which was developed to provide a range of town houses plus village shop with parish rooms over and also the former Nuway Kitchen showroom in Upper South View, Farnham which has also recently been developed to provide a range of residential units.
The sale of the Guildford Road Garage, which has only recently completed, took place following extensive marketing, Wadham & Isherwood identifying a list of seriously interested parties all of whom were then invited to submit their best and final bids by a given date. As a result of this informal tender the existing tenant, PGI, was successful in submitting the highest offer following which solicitors were instructed. Offers were initially invited for the freehold interest in excess of £1M.
Heath Bros Limited, a family concern, will now concentrate on managing the residential portfolio of properties that they have built up in the local area plus Baileys garage, their last remaining commercial property, a listed old barn building in Frensham which is currently let to a local photographer.
