The Loseley Estate have completed the transformation of Orange Court Farm in the village of Littleton a mile to the south of Guildford town centre; most of the post war agricultural buildings have been demolished; the remaining 2 traditional barns & outbuildings have been converted to a mixed scheme of residential and offices set in a landscaped environment.
Both barns ( the larger c. 2000 sq. ft is Grade 2 listed) have been converted to high standard offices retaining features such as the original oak beams incorporating the latest energy saving technology including ground source under floor heating ; solar panels and a rain water harvesting system .
The two barns have been let, the larger at a rent of £18 per sq ft . Alan Browne commented that “in a very difficult market Wadham & Isherwood‘s success with the double letting proves the continuing appeal of high quality refurbishments in sought after rural locations”.
