Wadham & Isherwood are delighted to announce the arrival of 217 Menswear who have taken a prime retail unit in Fleet town centre – 217 Fleet Road.
217 Menswear strive to offer a first class service, something that business owner Tyler Harman believes has long been lost in the UK “For us men shopping should be more than just a trip out to get what we need. It should be an experience which one remembers. At 217 Menswear we offer a range of specialist products from suiting to casualwear, (tailored to each individual if needed) outerwear from Europe, formal and casual shirts, footwear plus the all important accessories. For me, buying the stock is everything. Carefully selected pieces all bought with heart and soul. Its my passion and I strive to make sure my customers also benefit from the same feel good factor”.
217 opened for business in early October following an extensive fit out and so far Tyler Harman who set up the business is very pleased with how the shop is trading, sales have been ahead of his initial predictions and he has received a great many favourable comments from those people who have visited the shop.
The opening of 217 Menswear has coincided with a number of other independent retail businesses moving into the town. These include Sugar Plum, a Women’s fashion boutique and Headcase Barbers. The number of vacant shops in the town has dropped significantly over recent months and this has had a knock on effect on footfall which has also increased significantly.
Wadham & Isherwood were retained by 217 Menswear to carry out a market search for suitable retail premises, No. 217 Fleet Road was chosen due to its prominent location in between the two entrances to the Hart shopping centre. The high footfall, with other like minded retailers in close proximity were major factors in the decision process.
